Q: What does a host do and how do I find one?
A: A host provides webspace to place your domain in, you should also receive unlimited email anyname@youdomain.com. See Hosting

Q: Can I change my hosting plan? Can I change platforms?
A: Yes you can upgrade your hosting plan anytime. You can change platforms anytime with no extra charges.

Q: How do I transfer a domain name to your service?
A: You must send a fax on letterhead to your current service provider requesting they transfer the domain name in question to our nameserver details. (details sent on request.)

Q: How do I transfer files to my website?
A: You must have an FTP Program. There is more information on this in the control center.

Q: Can I upload/publish before my domain name has been transferred?
A: Sure we can allocate you a subdomain immediately.

Q: How can I tell how much disk space I've used?
A: You can only tell this if you have logs/stats on each domain.

Q: Do I get access to my account logs?
A: Yes! However this is an extra option and charges are occurred depending on your package option.

Q: Can I access my domain address with or without the "www"?
A: Yes and ftp.yourdomain.com, mail.yourdomain.com, smtp.yourdomain.com.

Q: What is SSL and "Netscape" encryption?
A: As a standard feature, we offer secure socket layer (SSL), often called "Netscape" encryption. This allows a SSL compatible browser to communicate with your virtual host in a secure SSL encrypted session. It can be used to securely transfer credit card details e.t.c.

Q: Do your servers support Flash & RealAudio?
A: Yes all our servers support Flash, RealAudio and many other features including Mysql, ODBC, Perl, PHP and Realserver G2.

Q: What if I need more disk space?
A: No problem this can be activated straight away either through the control center or by sending an email to support.

Q: Is there any additional charge for data transferred per month?
A: Yes if you exceed your allocated transfer you will be invoiced £40 per 500mb per month.

Q: How do I cancel/suspend my account?
A: To Cancel/Suspend your account you must send an email to support placing your USER ID in the subject. Please see our terms.

Q: How do I use SSL?
A: Again this can be activated either through the control center or by sending an email to support.

Q: Are CGI scripts provided with the accounts?
A: No, But you can access the webmasters resouce in the control center. And We will help in any way possible.

Q: How do I get MS FrontPage extensions installed?
A: This can be done in the control center or by sending an email to support.

Q: How do I change my FrontPage username/password?
A: This can be done either through the control center or by sending an email to support.

Q: Can I use FTP and FrontPage on the same files?
A: Unfortunately, No!

Q: Can I password protect a directory and/or sub directories?
A: Yes sure, this can be done either through the control center or by sending an email to support.
